The Armaş FCV Series Alarm Check Valve is an essential fire protection component designed for wet sprinkler systems in environments where freezing is not a concern. This UL-listed valve ensures a reliable and efficient fire suppression process by controlling the flow of pressurized water within the system.
In the event of a fire, the heat-sensitive sprinklers activate, releasing pressurised water from the pipeline. As the water continues to flow, the retard chamber fills up, triggering the pressure switch, which then sends an alert to the fire alarm or automation system. Simultaneously, the valve directs water to the mechanical alarm gong, producing an audible signal to warn occupants and responders.
