Industrial Beta-Polypropylene (ß-PP) is a premium-grade thermoplastic designed for demanding environments where strength, stability, and chemical resistance are critical. As a member of the polyolefin family, this high-performance material excels in applications exposed to both acidic and alkaline conditions — making it ideal for a broad spectrum of industries including water treatment, chemical processing, and food production.

Known for its low specific gravity, ß-PP offers a lightweight yet robust solution. It boasts high operating temperatures up to 90°C (194°F) and exceptional heat aging stability, ensuring long-term performance in high-demand systems. With excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, it’s particularly suited for handling aggressive fluids and slurries, as well as in deionised and reverse osmosis water systems.

Thanks to its high creep resistance and good elasticity, ß-Polypropylene maintains structural integrity under prolonged mechanical stress. It’s easily weldable, making installation and system integration straightforward. Furthermore, its low frictional resistance allows for efficient fluid transport, reducing wear and energy consumption over time.

Certified as suitable for food applications, it’s also a top choice for hygienic environments in the food and beverage industry, hospitals, and laboratories.
