The RayTemp 28 is an advanced infrared, non-contact thermometer featuring dual laser dot alignment and a 30:1 optic ratio (target distance/diameter ratio). This allows precise measurement of small targets from a distance or hard-to-reach items. With a three-button keypad, users can select modes such as max, min, differential, or average temperatures, view max/min values, and set configurable high/low alarms. The adjustable emissivity accommodates various surface types.
Equipped with a clear LCD display, the RayTemp 28 provides easy readability, especially in low-light conditions with its backlight feature. The instrument has an auto-power off function that turns it off after 35 seconds to conserve battery life. Housed in a robust IP54 splashproof case, it is designed to withstand harsh environments, and it comes with a protective ABS carrying case.
Additionally, the RayTemp 28 serves dual purposes by incorporating a miniature thermocouple type K probe socket. This feature allows compatibility with a range of type K thermocouple probes for diverse temperature measurement applications, including air, liquid, and surface temperatures. Note that no probes are included, giving users the flexibility to choose the ones best suited for their specific needs.
