The Temperature Alarm is a specialised monitoring device designed to track and report the floor temperature of electric vehicles, particularly after an accident or technical malfunction. Its primary purpose is to provide early warning of potential battery overheating, helping to prevent fire risks and monitor post-incident battery behavior.
Equipped with three temperature sensors (each with a 2-meter cable), the device captures surface temperatures at key vehicle locations: the driver’s area, rear seats, and luggage compartment. Temperature data is recorded continuously, with automatic reports sent every six hours via SMS and email to up to five designated recipients. If the preset temperature threshold is exceeded, the system instantly sends out alarm notifications—and if connected, activates optional siren and beacon alarms for immediate visual and audio alerts.
The device features an internal rechargeable battery with a runtime of 3–5 weeks per charge, depending on environmental and signal conditions. It also includes smart power monitoring—if battery charge drops below 20%, a warning message is triggered. Setup is easy with the included external keyboard, allowing users to configure device names, temperature limits, and recipient contacts.
Housed in a durable steel casing, the unit includes a SIM slot, USB ports, ventilation, antenna, and charging port. Ideal for transport fleets, logistics providers, and industrial EV users, this device adds a vital layer of safety in battery temperature management.
