Description

The Therma 20 thermistor thermometer is purpose-built for the catering industry, aligning with HACCP and health and safety protocols. Displaying temperature to 0.1 °C within the range of -39.9 to 149.9 °C, the Therma 20 ensures high system accuracy of ±0.4 °C (-24.9 to 109.9 °C) guaranteed for life due to advanced electronics. The LCD display, featuring low battery indication, is easy to read, and the thermometer operates in low ambient temperatures down to -20 °C, meeting European Standard EN13485 requirements for temperature monitoring in food supply chains.

Housed in an ergonomic, robust ABS case with 'Biomaster' additive reducing bacterial growth, the thermometer operates with low power consumption, powered by three AAA batteries for a minimum of five years. The auto-power off function turns off the instrument after ten minutes. The Therma 20 incorporates an easy-to-use Lumberg screw-locking connector, accommodating a wide range of interchangeable probes, including an extensive selection of thermistor probes from ETI.

Optional accessories include a protective boot, rendering the instrument splashproof to IP64, a stainless steel wall-mounted thermometer holder for secure storage (screws not supplied), and thermistor test caps suitable for testing the Therma 20's accuracy.

Biomaster additives, potent silver-based biocides, are incorporated into plastics to reduce hygiene risks. The patented anti-microbial active agent releases silver ions on demand, safely inhibiting microbial growth.
