The ThermaData Lite data logger is a cost-effective, self-contained temperature data logger or blind recording thermometer designed to capture the ambient environmental temperature. Encased in a water-resistant polyethylene case with two LED status indicators, this logger provides essential features for effective temperature monitoring.
ThermaData Studio software enhances user control by allowing the programming of logging sample intervals (6 seconds to 255 minutes), real-time clock settings, and choice between °C/°F. Additional options include delayed start (up to 23 hours and 59 minutes), push-button start, temperature start, time start, and a 31-character user ID. The software also boasts a password-protected calibration adjustment feature, enabling users to check and make minor adjustments (±0.1 °C) for logger calibration. High and low alarm values for specific applications can be set within the software, and a simple visual inspection of the unit indicates if alarm limits are exceeded. A flashing red LED warns of alarm limit breaches (reject), while a flashing green LED signifies that the limits have not been exceeded (accept).
ThermaData Studio Software, available as a free download, connects the ThermaData Lite logger to a PC through a USB-C port lead. Users can download and display data in graph, table, or summary formats, with options for analysis, zooming, saving as a Studio File, or exporting to other software packages. The ThermaData Lite generates an automatic report upon computer plug-in, detailing high and low alarms and providing key information for acceptance in deliveries or processes. The report, available in PDF format, includes instrument details, log summary, and the longest alarms. No additional software is required to download the PDF report.
The ThermaData Lite data logger is available in various colored cases—blue, yellow, white, and black—to prevent cross-contamination and facilitate easy identification for specific products or applications. Different colored loggers can be assigned to various purposes, such as in the building and construction industry, where loggers may blend into the environment.
