The Thermapen Classic Strong Penetration Probe Thermometer offers the same advantages as the standard Thermapen Classic thermometer but is equipped with a versatile strong temperature probe suitable for both solids and liquids.
Featuring a spacious digital display, the Thermapen® Classic penetration probe thermometer provides precise temperature readings ranging from -49.9 to 299.9 °C, with a 0.1 °C resolution and an accuracy of ±0.4 °C. If needed, the resolution can be switched to 1 °C using a switch in the battery compartment. The thermometer automatically powers off after ten minutes to conserve battery life, a feature that can be disabled if not required. Low battery (icon) and open circuit indications are displayed when applicable.
Powered by two lithium coin cell batteries with a minimum life expectancy of 1500 hours, the thermometer probe conveniently folds back through 180 degrees into the side of the instrument when not in use. The washable casing, enriched with 'Biomaster' additive, reduces bacterial growth, and the ergonomic rubber seal minimizes the risk of water, dust, or food ingress.
