The Thermapen Classic thermometer boasts a sizeable digital display, providing precise temperature readings within the range of -49.9 to 299.9 °C, with a 0.1 °C resolution and an accuracy of ±0.4 °C. To maximise battery life, the thermometer automatically powers off after ten minutes, and its configuration is fully customisable using switches in the battery compartment. Options include disabling the auto-off mode, choosing between °C or °F scales, and selecting 1° or 0.1° resolution.
The washable casing, enhanced with 'Biomaster' additive, reduces bacterial growth, and the ergonomic rubber seal minimises the risk of water, dust, or food ingress. Each unit comes with a FREE traceable certificate of calibration. Designed with colour-coding in mind, there is a specific Colour-coded Thermapen for chefs, cooks, and caterers, allowing for HACCP and due diligence procedures to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Alternatively, different staff members can use thermometers of various colours.
