The Thermapen Classic Surface industrial thermometer seamlessly combines the advantages of the SuperFast Thermapen 3 with a ribbon surface probe, making it an invaluable tool for gauging temperatures on hot plates, pipes, and more*. With a broad digital display, it provides precise readings across a range of -49.9 to 299.9 °C, featuring a 0.1 °C resolution and an impressive accuracy of ±0.4 °C. If needed, the resolution can be switched to 1 °C using a switch in the battery compartment.
Designed for efficiency, the thermometer automatically powers off after ten minutes to maximize battery life—a feature that can be disabled if not required. It also displays low battery (icon) and open circuit indications when applicable. Powered by two lithium coin cell batteries with a minimum life expectancy of 1500 hours, the Thermapen® conveniently folds its probe back through 180 degrees into the instrument's side when not in use.
The washable casing incorporates 'Biomaster' additive to inhibit bacteria growth, and the ergonomic rubber seal minimizes the risk of water, dust, or food ingress.
