The RayTemp® 8 infrared thermometer is designed as a gun-shaped, lightweight device that offers easy operation. Simply point press the button, and the temperature of the targeted item is displayed on the LCD screen. The digital read-out covers a temperature range of -60 to 500°C.
Featuring a clear LCD display with a low battery indicator, the RayTemp® 8 also comes with an auto power-off function that conserves battery life by shutting down after 60 seconds of inactivity. The infrared thermometer includes a laser dot alignment for precision.
With a four-button keypad, users can easily toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit, as well as access max/min temperature readings. The instrument can display the difference between maximum and minimum temperatures and calculate the average temperature.
Notably, the RayTemp® 8 infrared thermometer is a versatile tool, as it incorporates a miniature thermocouple type K probe socket. This allows for the use of various types K thermocouple probes, enabling temperature measurements for air, liquid, and surface applications.
