Housed in a sturdy yet lightweight ABS case containing 'Biomaster' additive for reduced bacterial growth, the Therma 1 boasts a large, easy-to-read LCD display featuring open circuit 'Err' and low battery indicators. Each thermometer is powered by three 1.5-volt AAA batteries, providing a minimum of five years of battery life. The units automatically power off after ten minutes to maximise battery longevity, and users have the option to disable this feature if desired.
