The ThermaGuard Fridge Thermometer, designed for high accuracy in monitoring fridge and freezer temperatures, offers two models catering to varying sensor needs. Essential for ensuring food safety and HACCP compliance, both models—101 and 102—include max/min, alarm, and CalCheck functions. The internal sensor (101 model only) measures temperatures from -19.9 to 49.9 °C, while the external sensors cover the range of -39.9 to 49.9 °C. With an accuracy of ±0.4 °C and a resolution of 0.1 °C/°F, these models boast a 25000-hour battery life (normal use, without alarm), requiring battery changes only every 34 months.
Featuring a large LCD display showing current and max/min recorded temperatures simultaneously, both models offer programmable alarms, providing an audible warning if the fridge or freezer temperatures deviate from the set safe range. Housed in a splashproof IP54 ABS case with Biomaster antimicrobial technology to reduce bacterial growth, these thermometers are ideal for monitoring chilled and frozen foods. An optional two-point (-18, 0°C) UKAS Certificate of Calibration is available for the remote probes.
The ThermaGuard 101 comprises two temperature sensors—a remote water-resistant probe with a one-meter PVC lead for monitoring appliance temperature and an internal sensor for room temperature. The ThermaGuard 102 includes two remote water-resistant probes, each with a one-meter PVC lead for monitoring two appliances. Mounting brackets are provided for attaching the remote probes to the internal wall of the fridge.
Both ThermaGuard models feature the CalCheck 0.0 °C (±0.1 °C) function, enabling users to verify thermometer accuracy at any time. Each unit comes with a plastic wall bracket incorporating a built-in foot stand, hook for hanging, and a screw thread for tripod mounting, ensuring safe storage, secure positioning, and protection against accidental damage.
